Ed Asner as FDR
Ed
Asner, recipient of seven
Emmy Awards (Mary Tyler Moore Show, Lou Grant)
and 16 nominations, five Golden Globe Awards,
and member of the TV Academy Hall of Fame, will
star in the solo performance drama, FDR based
upon Dore Schary’s Broadway hit Sunrise at
Campobello, which ran 70 weeks on Broadway. This
one-man show takes us through Franklin Delano
Roosevelt’s White House years including the
Depression, the steps leading up to WWII and the
war years. Asner shows us why this president was
known as “that man in the White House,” scorned
by many and admired by most.

An Evening with Mark Russell
Campaign
season may be over, but the laughs keep on
coming. Piano-playing political satirist Mark
Russell features material ripped from today’s
headlines. Known for skewering Democrats and
Republicans alike, Russell’s unique brand of
comedy earned him the Mark Twain Award for
political comedy and has made him a popular
favorite on PBS. Long before Jon Stewart and
Steven Colbert, there was Mark Russell, daring
to joke and sing of the often absurd political
process.

Let your hair down and “let the sunshine in!”
HAIR - The original Broadway
Musical
HAIR
- a joyous celebration of youth and a poignant
journey through the tumultuous 1960s America!
This exuberant musical about searching for
truth, peace and love in Vietnam War-era America
continues to strike a resonant chord with
audiences of all ages. The long list of
chart-topping hit songs include “Aquarius,” Let
the Sun Shine in,” “Good Morning, Starshine” and
“Easy to be Hard”. Hair tells the story of the
“tribe”, a group of politically active, hippies
of the “Age of Aquarius” living a bohemian life
in New York City and fighting against
conscription into the Vietnam War. They struggle
to balance their lives, loves and the sexual
revolution with their rebellion against the war
and their conservative parents and society.
